This is my 3rd try at fireworks. My 2nd attempt during the National Day Preview was totally blown. But I guess I managed to get a couple of decent shot this time...especially when a couple of friends and I went down at 11.45am just to get the spot beside the merlion! Hee...
It was tough trying to balance exposure between the surroundings and the fireworks itself. As you can see..the buildings at the bg weren't really well exposed. Hope you like it!
The shutter speed is perfect, slow to take the fireworks but doesn't spoil any part of the picture. The merlion is perfect, the fireworks are amazing. the wide angle is great, not too far-out. The under-exposed buildings is not too dark nor too bright the way the light is giving a beautiful background. Gives the "urban-life" feel.
